Bayside Discovery Center has programs for toddlers, ages 12 months, through the sixth grade. We are a certified VPK PROVIDER.
We would love to have your family swing by for a tour of our school. Bayside Discovery Center offers classes for numerous ages. For our youngest classes, we have rooms with custom-sized tables, chairs and not to mention potties, giving our students a feeling of security while promoting their growing independence on the right-sized scale.
Regarding the older classes, including VPK, we have more substantial classrooms that help our students to prepare for their years to come in school. Full or Part-time programs are available.
For Bayside Discovery Center, our doors open at 6:45 am and close at 6:00 pm. Our preschool program runs from 8:30-11:30 am, with program opportunities ranging anywhere from five full days to only two mornings weekly. Our VPK program runs from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. We also offer a wrap-around program, for those families that are interested or need more than three hours a day. For Elementary aged students, The Discovery Center provides transportation to and from school for Westside Elementary. Pick up is also available at Odyssey Charter School. Please call us for more information. Students are provided with a snack, have the opportunity to utilize assistance with homework, and enjoy an encouraging environment after their long school day. Summer Camp runs the length of the summer and provides educational and entertainment opportunities to help keep little hands busy over the hot summer months! For Elementary and those students that have completed VPK, that includes regular field trips. For our younger groups, waterplay! We continue our very popular Pizza Fridays, throughout Summer Camp!
Preschool VPK Before & After School All Teachers at Bayside Discovery Center have either obtained their degree or are certified by the state.
